Since founding Audrey Drought Design, Inc. in 2000, Audrey’s main focus has been to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism through excellent business practices and thorough collaboration with the myriad of parties involved in each project. She places an emphasis on unique architectural details, proper scale, and timeless creative influences and has long been recognized for her ability to incorporate all aspects of design.
As a registered and licensed Interior Designer, her areas of expertise range from new construction to remodeling in both residential and commercial spaces.
Robyn began her career in residential design after she graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Her education was enhanced by a hybrid program of architecture and interior design studies, heightening her expertise regarding the design of intimate rooms of a residential space and how the external shell envelops them. Robyn strengthened her professional skills by completing the NCIDQ examinations and is a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas. She believes that a well-designed space reflects a client’s personality and lifestyle needs. Her favorite part of design development is creating the details – the edge profile of a sofa, or the tile pattern in a bathroom – as these are the elements that enrich a home.
Jordan is a recent graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture. As a student, she was an active member of ASID and IIDA. Some of her collegiate projects were selected to represent Texas Tech University at the Regional and National level.
Jordan completed her professional internship with Audrey Drought Design, Inc., which confirmed her desire to focus on residential design. She aims to assist clients in creating spaces that tell their story, incorporating timeless elements with fresh finishes and details while highlighting favorite pieces.
Being a native Houstonian and having the opportunities to travel abroad, Jordan draws inspiration from south Texas ranch style to a classic European approach. This brings an ability to combine unexpected accents together for a distinctive design suited to each clients’ needs.
